I have started to work on a ransomware python project in order to get a better understanding of how malware operates within systems. For now I can exfiltrate data and encrypt windows systems. I have added various options for choosing directories and file types. This is an on going learning project so I will post more as I add new functionality or want to share some insights. There is a lot of debugging print statements and other functionality that wouldn't be included in an actual, distrubuted malware. You can mute the music if you'd like.
